Phase 3
Design of Integration Strategies
- Phase 3 - Educational and Technology Strategies
Instructional methods
While technology can make a difference, learning effectiveness depends on many different variables such as course characteristics and instructional design. A technology project can be successful only if there is a clear plan and instructional design for the new technology.
For many teachers managing a technology rich classroom is significantly different from previous experiences for managing a classroom. (Sandholtz, Ringstaff & Dwyer, 1997) Teachers who are unable to manage and organize a computer lab will struggle for survival because they cannot keep students involved in the learning process. A primary goal for this project is to ensure learning takes place without the interference of distracting activities on the computer.
