Phase 1
The Case for Relative Advantage
This project was focused on the core problem how to prevent students from engaging in distracting activities with the computer during class time. A goal of both the school district and state education department is to raise the scores of students taking computer application classes.
The technology based solution to this problem of student inattention was to implement Synchroneyes. The primary goal was to use Syncrohneyes to stop the distracting behavior and thereby allow students to focus on the lesson plan. Meeting this goal would help students to meet class objectives as set forth by the school.
The sections of the phase will show why this technology was chosen and why teachers will see the relative advantage of using it.
